PIG SIGN IN 2026 — Better than the Last

Pig Years: 1947,1959,1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019, 2031, 2043*

The best message that can be conveyed (and it is not insignificant) to those born under the sign of the Pig is that this Year of the Horse will clearly be better, in most cases, than 2025. In 2025 the Pig was in direct clash with the sign of the year, the Snake, and the almanacs therefore forecast a phase of unexpected and unwelcome changes. That is likely to have happened to many born in the Year of the Pig and to have affected, above all, the more vulnerable areas of their lives.

The context is now clearly different. Nothing spectacular, it must be said from the outset, but something constructive and solid, according to what can be read in the Chinese almanacs.

One of the auspicious stars highlighted is Monthly Virtue, Yue De 月德, which relates to the remarkable ability to transform crises or conflicts into positive energies. At a psychological and behavioural level, the same star is associated with empathy, compassion and the formidable power of soft power. Potential conflicts and other difficulties are dismantled at their root, giving way to cooperation and to a notably charismatic personal image.

By way of curiosity, it may be added that the name of this symbolic star contains the character Yue 月, which means “month” but also “Moon”. This is understandable, since in the Chinese lunar calendar the months are counted according to the Moon’s cycle — from one New Moon to the next — and therefore follow a relatively short cycle.

On the basis of this reference, some masters advise Pig natives to avoid becoming involved in long-term (non-financial) projects. In other words, they should establish an initial project of relatively short duration and, only after completing it, plan a second project, and so on, thereby aligning themselves with lunar or monthly rhythms.

However, as regards another star of the year, Jade Hall, Yu Tang 玉堂, the philosophy to be followed operates at a completely different pace. On the one hand, in material matters it is closely connected with the past. Specifically, those who in previous years made investments in assets (for example, real estate) will see those assets appreciate in 2026, according to the almanacs. The same reasoning applies to investments of an intangible nature, such as investing in the acquisition of skills or in obtaining academic qualifications: in 2026 there is a strong likelihood that such investments will prove valuable.

Still within the financial sphere, the unanimous recommendation of the almanacs is that Pig natives should adopt a very conservative approach to investment, setting aside all plans for fast money and focusing instead on prudent, well-considered investments that will yield results in the future, though not immediately.
