ROOSTER SIGN IN 2026— A Year to Remember

I found a remarkable unanimity in what the Chinese almanacs forecast for natives of the Rooster in 2026, the year of the Horse in association with the Fire element. That unanimity tells us that the potential of 2026 is excellent — without doubt among the best of the twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac.

Three symbolic stars stand out, both for their beneficial influence and for the popularity they enjoy among feng shui (and Bazi) masters. They are the Moon Star, Tai Yin 太陰 (太阴), the Heavenly Yi Noblemen Star, Tian Yi Gui Ren 天乙貴人 (天乙贵人), and the Red Matchmaker, Hong Luan 紅鸞 (红鸾).

There is something these cosmic forces have in common: the remarkable power of empathy, emotional intelligence and soft power. In this case, the path to success and fulfilment clearly does not lie in conflict or violence.

On the contrary. The Moon Star clearly invokes the yin aspect of the Chinese yin/yang polarity. Yin represents the subtle dimension of life’s energies, whereas yang is the more dynamic and visible aspect.

For the more traditional almanacs, the presence of the Moon Star in a given year simply indicates that the person will benefit from the support from female figures, whether superiors in the professional hierarchy, etc. More innovative masters, however, seek to broaden the meaning of this symbolic star, bearing in mind that it conveys the expression of the yin principle. In that sense, the Moon Star highlights soft power and the ability to communicate with others not so much through words or arguments, but above all through subtle and unspoken gestures.

The Heavenly Yi Noblemen Star relates to the ability to attract help and support, especially from influential individuals who are in a position to help turn aspirations into reality.

Finally, the Red Matchmaker is another very popular star in the Chinese almanacs. It concerns relationships with other people, first and foremost on a romantic level, though not exclusively. In other words, it is an excellent energy for anything connected with mutual understanding, affinity and partnership in a broad sense.

As with the other signs, the almanacs also note the presence of “inauspicious” stars whose importance is secondary and which merely recommend the use of common sense in various situations: for example, not taking on more responsibilities than one is able to fulfil, avoiding disorganisation or any form of dependency or addiction (whether emotional or physical), etc. Within the highly positive context of this year for the Rooster, the presence of those stars becomes largely irrelevant.
